The goal of the Green Team is to empower and educate our students and teachers at Rowayton
Elementary school to help the environment. We set an example through waste reduction,
recycling, energy conservation and pollution prevention.

Working closely with our facilities team, Rich and Pablo, as well as the City of Norwalk Waste
Management Team, we have ensured that every classroom and office at the school is provided
with a recycling receptacle. Rowayton Elementary follows city-wide, single stream recycling.
