Class Description

Pickleball is fun, social and friendly! It is a sport that has elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. Rowayton School now has new courts for the kids to use! The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced competitive game. In this class, students will learn the basics of the sport. They will be able to identify the parts of the pickleball court and the rules. They will play fun games that teach them the basics and practice eye hand coordination. We have all of the equipment on hand. Mrs. Griffin played collegiate tennis and has crossed over to pickleball. Players who already know how to play will be matched with players at the same level of play. Players new to the game will be taught the basics of the game. Come ready to learn and play!
